The Women in Computing club at the College of Charleston is dedicated to the growth of students in the technological field. Women in Computing is an an equal opportunity/non-discrimination organization is open to all College of Charleston students and faculty. Women in Computing shall not discriminate based on race, creed, color, sex, age, national origin, disability or sexual orientation. It's open to both women and men who share an interest in programming, design or anything technology related.
The advisors to Women in Computing are faculty members of the Computer Science Department who has volunteered and been approved of by the Executive Committee. These professors may serve as an active member and help to provide guidance to officers and members of the club. The advisor serves as the primary contact for any CS Departmental support required by the club.
